CVS Store Manager Overtime Cases

LAWSUITS FOR UNPAID OVERTIME HAVE BEEN FILED ON BEHALF OF SALARIED STORE MANAGERS IN CALIFORNIA WHO WORK/WORKED AT CVS PHARMACY

STORE MANAGERS at CVS Pharmacy Stores (both currently employed and formerly employed) in California have been taking legal action to recover unpaid overtime from CVS. Righetti Glugoski, P.C. has been handling claims brought by Store Managers and has been making significant recoveries for California store managers You may contact us if you want more information about how to participate.

These lawsuits allege that CVS misclassified its salaried Store Managers as "exempt" employees under California law and in doing so has deprived Store Managers of overtime compensation and other benefits. The lawsuits allege that CVS misclassified its salaried store managers because CVS Store Managers spend the vast majority of their time performing "hourly-type" tasks such as cashiering, stocking, unpacking load, cleaning, helping customers and working the photo booth. The main reason CVS Store Managers must spend the vast majority of their time performing this type of work is because CVS has cut the labor budget of its stores significantly, which requires the Store Managers to step up and perform more of these tasks and work longer hours. If you believe you spend/spent more than 50% of your time performing these types of tasks, you should be getting paid overtime and you should be receiving 30-minute uninterrupted meal periods, and 10-minute uninterrupted rest breaks. You may contact us if you want more information about how to participate.
